certain things trigger a feeling of happiness and a sense of completeness in us
but all of us respond this way to different things

as we experience these particular things our body pumps itself full of feel-good chemicals and we feel good

for one person X has to happen in order for that to happen, for another Y
but the fact remains:
we are the source of all our feelings, they don’t come from outside us

‘nobody can give you anything that you don’t already have’

growing up we adopted certain standards & rules that bind the release of feel-good chemicals in us to certain things outside us,

in effect, we programmed ourselves to be triggered into state by specific circumstances in our lives…

drawing you into a stronger version of yourself?

light attracts light

we are part of a dynamic flow larger than us
beyond our ego and individuality: the soul seeks light

when someone provocates me, challenges me and tests my congruence, what happens is much more than personal, it is something deeper and more real, it is the soul trying to find cracks to let light in

in line with this idea, frame every affront this way:
“why does this particular person in this particular moment need me to be stronger/brighter?”

once you give it enough space

there is no need for symptom-suppressing medication

all the body needs is space

doing the physiological and psychological corrective stretches that you need to do,
and just relaxing into (the anabolic-catabolic cycles/ups and downs of) growth

my actions and behaviors do not reflect my true capacities
but rather the given identity I have chosen to inhabit

like the needle on a broken record, unaware I orbit the story I have created about myself and I constrain/enable myself to experience only a certain scale of my physiological and psychological capacities

I gotta get clear, I gotta hear clearly the actual tune the needle is picking up because it makes a hell of a difference whether my chosen identity is upbeat/empowering me or rather downbeat/holding me back

feel the looping tune you are stuck in and OWN that shit.. and get guidance: open to the provocations that stronger individuals offer when they confront you or when they share their struggles and candidly expose their fear-ridden ego

these people give permission for us to become more open and vulnerable, they give permission for us to let loose and slough off our worn-out identity, and grow into a stronger version of ourselves,

to leap to the next loop, and get hemmed in the next circle (as Emerson would say)
